How to make waist bigger

So i love my ldc pants i got this year but they are really tight around the waist anyone else feel the same? love the length but i would like them a little baggier but unfortunately due to the waist issue it is nearly impossible to sag without popping buttons, breaking zippers, ripping inseams....etc. Any tricks you know of?

Take them to a seamstress/laundromat/tailor and the should be able to cut the waist somewhere inconspicuous and sew a piece of fabric between the cut to make it bigger. Or get grandma to do it, if possible.
