How to make my flat 3's more flat

Looks pretty flat to me, but try looking over your left shoulder as soon as you take off... seems you're doing that a little late in the rotation, but that's really all I can see.

all i saw was some kid grabbing his sock and doing a backflip on a trampoline. the first step is gonna be getting to a ski area with a jump and then hitting the jump. once you get that down you can start thinking about doing tricks.

You're starting rotation too late and to make a nice and flat flat 5 your whole upper body must trigger the trick, not only the head + arms.

What trick is that really? It looks like he barely if at all faces the opposite (180') way?

I'm on a lot of cocaine right now so I need to go to sleep so I can shred in 5 hours.

well, when i ski, some times when i pop flatspin, i don't have enough rotation to bring it to 540, so i just land forwards, making it a really flat 3. i suppose you can try it on purpose as well! yo land a little sketchy, but it's probably possible make it steezy anyways!

the thing that i think really makes flatspins look more flat is the fact that the lander is on a different angle as the take-off. this also might be the reason why like every time i see a trampoline rodeo or flatspin it looks more flippy. idk.. just my observation

flatspin 101 taught to me by Brian Bishop (yes, Josh BIshop's brother):

Step 1: on lip, dont lean into trick

Step 2:bring you shoulders diagonally back and thrust your hips opposite to your body.

Step 3: right after you gget the pop, look behind you and swing your far leg (i do a flatspin to the left, so I use my right leg as my far leg) in a horizontal semi-kick over across your body.

Step 4: grab japan to keep yourself in the acquired postion

Step 5: Don't float it too much because you will land sideways

Step 6: when you spot your landing, if you need to, let your grab go and swing your legs around to land

Caution: do not try this on a small jump. From experience, I can only do them off of about a 40, no smaller or I cant get the rotation since the "correct" way to perform a flatspin makes you soooo floaty.
