How to make a summer rail?

i have all the stuff i just need to know how to put the pipes on to the wood. Do you screw through the bottom or something or what i need help fast.

Also just sayin' i live on a farm and hay or straw also works good for slidin' when its dry. i got an indor setup in my barn it will be sweet when i got my rail together. :-)

 
I had some trouble with this, but i got i now.
1. drill a hole through the side and bottom of the pipe
2. make sure the holes are on the inside if you are using multiple pipes (so the skis dont hit them and get caught if you are half on the pipes)
3. Use a magnetic drill bit (philips screw head)
4. put the screw on the bit lower it into the side hole and screw it into the bottom

Make sure the angle from the side hole to the bottom hole isnt to much, so that the bit can fit in. The hole should be about 30 degrees off from the top.

tape the pipes to the top piece of wood. then flip it over and put in 3 screws. one at the start, one in the middle then one in the end. then add more screws in between. you want to put in the start and finish ones first tho, so the piping doesn't angle off of the wood. oh and make sure the screws won't go through all of the pipe. like if ur using 2x4s the screws should be about 2.5 inches.
 
Liquid nails the pvc to the wood then screw it in from the underside like threw the wood check my pictures i have a good example on there
 
My idea is to make a double barrel from PVC piping and in between each pipe put a 1x1 piece of wood and drill into it from the side and it won't obstruct anything at all.
