How to make a camera handle/stabilizer?

i'd like to make one or buy one, so if anyone here has any advice/tips they'd be greatly appreciated. Pics would help too
 
what are you looking to make?

a top handle

a sort of media cage (or a combo of those two)

or something more like a glidecam?
 
theres some threads on skateperception.comOne of my friebds make some. But you need some metal and a vice...make some measuments and apply pressure, and use a rubber mallet until everting is about perfect.
