How to help a friend man up?

So today a friend and I went up for our mountain's first day, and they had a few mini park features set up. There was an 8' flat box, and since my friend is just learning park, I thought this would be perfect to learn. The thing was, every time he went to hit the feature, he would say he was going to slide the box. But then when he got to it, he just rode on and 5050'd it every time. So, what can I do to get him to actually go for it??

Music.

also make sure he doesn't lose balance and lean back when he finally commits to sliding sideways. there a very high chance that will happen so do your best to instruct accordingly

heres some "inspirational" music, i mean the name of the album is the inspiration for Christ sake. This is definitely very over the top to listen to when learning how to slide a flat-box, but honestly this music is pretty intense when listening to it for anything your doing.. one of the few examples I could see of Young Jeezy actually being appropriate is for NFL players trying to get amped up before a game

LISTEN TO THIS GUY

Not much you can do. Maybe show em some sick edits or something so he gets pumped. Someone I used to ski with did this.

Does he actually want to learn? No point in trying to get him to do it if he doesn't want to progress and get better.

He keeps saying he wants to, I wouldn't be trying to get him to learn park if he didn't want to.

i have a friend who always does this. honestly i just kept talking him into it and we hiked the feature untill he got the trick he was trying. people who never get out of there comfort zone and dont try things arnt the right people for skiing park

sometimes you have to tell someone to literally reach down, grab their balls and tell themselves to sack up.

do it.

what if he doesnt have a sack? where do you grab?

Ok: I am the friend.

I have slid flat boxes at the end of last season, and yesterday I whenever I popped 90 on snow, I was landing with my feet together and my weight on my back foot so I was worried I would just slide out...pretty much all I did was 5050 then spin to 90 so I was sliding the last half of the box without having to worry about how my skis land on the box.

How do I keep my weight over my front ski when I land on the feature?

shit

He has to be in the right state of mind. Get him to a really easy feature, and have him take his time. He just has to focus, but not think about it too hard.

I always tell my buddies:

Whats the worst thing that can happen?

You hit your head really bad and can never ski again or walk.

Send it anyway.

Tell him that if he doesn't do it you'll suck his dick then tell everyone at school about how gay he is
