How to get in touch with Line skis

My skis, Mordecai 193 cm, is starting to fall apart after approx 50 days on the slopes. I have tried to sent them a message on lineskis.com but have not got an answer. I can´t seem to find a support email when googling. Any advice on how to get in touch with them? Maybe someone sits on a non-published email?

What do you really want them to do? 50 days of hard skiing is about when skis start to fall apart unless you're paying for ON3P, DPS, etc. Also, if you are skiing them hard and not really taking care of them this could be why.

You are saying that a pair of skis that was bought in november should not even last the season out? And I have a pair of old salomon skis that I ski when conditions are sharky. So there is no reason for you to say that I don't take care of my skis.

Im not saying you don't take care of your skis. Im saying if you don't get them tuned and wax them regularly it is very possible that a pair of line skis can be trashed within 50 days. What do you want them to do about it? If every ski company gave people a new pair of skis after they started to fall apart after a considerable amount of use, they wouldn't be in business.

I'm on my second pair this year and they're falling apart brand doesn't matter when you ski park it happens buy cheap skis

With any issues it's always best to go back to a dealer and have them deal with the brand for you. That is one reason it's always best to buy from a shop rather then online. But if you got them online take them to a line dealer and try to see if they will help you out. Bribeing with beer may help your cause.

Ya i think skis should last longer than 50 days, my k2 presses which were great skis, but pretty low quality lasted me 2 full seasons, so im sorry but if a ski is only lasting 50 days its a piece of junk, I now ski jskis and have been using them all season without any sign of wear and have probably been 50 times

what do you honestly think you should get out of them...

Probably more than 50 days at least... I have almost 150 days on my Armada Thalls and Moment Reno Rockers and they're still going strong

lol at emailing customer service, that's the equivalent of throwing your arrows in an olympic archery competition. Call.

Dude, get the fuck out of here with the 50 days of hard skiing shit unless its ON3P or DPS. Plenty of ski manufacturers, including Line, make skis that last much longer than 50 days.

Okay wise guy, what do you want Line to do about it? Please give me a viable solution since you're the know it all on this site. No ski company on this earth is going to give you a new pair of skis after 50 fucking days on snow. It is a proven fact that skis start to deteriorate after heavy use no matter what what company makes them (especially if you don't wax them and tune them up). I have had friends who's ON3Ps and Armada's started to delam after 10 days and the best they could offer them is a discount code on a future purchase.

Im not saying Line skis are shit or they are doomed after 50 days. But its not fucking unheard of that a pair of Chinese made skis will start to go to shit after a season of use.

I never said what Line has to or should do. Every case is different and every case has a different solution, so I'm not assuming anything about OP's skis. Not that is pertains to this thread, but I got a new pair from line after a full season (130 days that year), but that was in 2008.

Tuning skis besides an initial detune has almost nothing to do with durability. Waxing them also has nothing to do with durability besides extreme cases.

You saying skis other than ON3P and DPS are doomed after 50 days is exactly what you said.

Things being made in China has nothing to do with quality or durability. It's not fucking 1995. Your supply chain, materials, manufacturing procedures, and manufacturing checks and balances has everything to do with your end product quality, not your physical location.

^^

there are just way too many variables to account for.

You couldn't be more wrong on this first part. Good maintenance and good care help. Keeping skis dry when stored, clean and waxed often, repairing bases and deep scratches all help the life of the skis.

Where skis are made and what products they are made with aren't mutually exclusive. Its proven that Line skis aren't as durable as other manufacturers that make skis in North America. If you want to argue me on the fact that Line uses better materials, has better manufacturing procedures and checks than ON3P, DPS, Kastle, etc then you are just wrong.

Line doesn't make a bad product. They make an affordable product that attracts to park and freestyle skiers that are on a budget, and many times it shows with how long their skis last.

DM-ed ya .. sorry for the delay! Mid winter madness mixed with LINE dealer orders for next year stuff coming in clogs the system.

*note for all here: It seems archaic these days to not go directly to the source however the ski shop you got them from (or at least a LINE dealer) is the best place to go first as they can look at the ski in person, fix or get a local reps opinion, since we're in Seattle going back and forth with e-mails and calls is great but less efficient. Thanks! - josh @ LINE

Thank you for replying.

The thing is I am doing a season in Switzerland and there is no local Line dealer in the village.

Interested in what line offered you considering 50 days is PLENTY of time to void any possible warranty you may have on them.

Just from experience, most ski companies would laugh in your face if you brought this information to them.

Just buy Armadas my 2014 Thalls are over 150 days and i only have a few small edge cracks and a couple of core shots. The things are beasts and they stand up to the test of time.
