How to get a Blue ink stain out of a White New Era

i got blue ink on my bill of my brand new, completely white boston red sox new era hat.. and i'm disappointed.. how do i get it out?

i'm thinking glycerin

soak the part with the spot in a 70/30 mix of hydrogen peroxide & bleach for a day or so & then wash it in the dishwasher using one of those form holding hat things.
