How to get a big pvc pipe?

i have been looking at a few stores one of them being home hardwear and i cant seem to find a big pvc pipe! i want one that is like 1 foot in diameter. the biggest i found was probably 4 inches at the very most. I would but just a couple and make a flatbar but it is getting cold and snow is starting to fall so id ont really want to be building a big setup outside. bigger then 1 foot would also be great!!

so the reason i wanted a big one is cause you can just put it down pack snow beside it then build a little snow ramp and hit that pvc pipe in my backyard.

Bassicaly what im asking is where do you buy/find these?? please help! i want to get better this season and i always have seen them! (also i live in alberta so i dont have american stores.. have rona, home hardwear..etc)

+k for good responces

sorry for typos and such but this is kinda what i want it to look like/be like.

how am i supposed to carry a 12 foot long 100 pound(or however much it weighs) tube home?

Get one big enough to fit inside -> roll home. No one will suspect a thing

If it was because of the height and not really the diameter you could easily mount a tube to a 2x4 frame and make it whatever size you want. Also the smaller the easier to find and less expensive.

I love fatty tubes though.

See what you can find at a junkyard. If you wanted you could make pvc pipe style tube from multiple pipes. Just drop down each one slidghtly on the sides in the shape of the upper section of the tube width you're trying to replicate. Would be easy as fuck to get the thinner tubing in any length, and you would still have the ability of locking on slight to the side and then sliding up on top like a tube.

I've never seen one of these before but just though of it. Wouldn't be surprised if somebody's done it though.

Lowes or Home Depot. If not there then ask one of the employees, you pretty much always get a good answer.

Sizes up to 14". Large diameter pipe is expensive, though. They also sell schedule 80 up to a 12" OD if you want thick pipe for some reason. I ordered a bunch of 5" PVC pipe from them last year for something unrelated to skiing and found their prices were good compared to your typical hardware store.

Ask your rents or older people if they know any friends with construction business', its probably alot easier up here with the small town everyone knows everyone vibe, but my buddies dad was able to buy a really nice big one off of his buddy.

They don't carry big ones at lowes or Home Depot. You can special order them but they cost $300-$500
