How to fix this

I attempted to mount my first pair of skis a couple of days ago. I bought these skis for really cheap and mounted them with some old marker squires I found lying around in my garage. After I pre-drilled all the holes and screwed in the final 2 screws on the heel piece I forgot to attach the brake so the screw went in a little too far and now the base is bulging. What are your guy's thoughts on how to fix this? My dad wants to cut off the little bulge and then P-Tex it but IDK if it's worth going through all that trouble1065004.jpeg

Pull the screw out and hammer the bulge back as much as you can. Then add a lot of glue and a bit of saw dust to the hole so when you put the screw back in, it sits snug. If you have access to a ski shop i'd get them to base grind the ski afterwards so shes mint.

Ptex fix by sanding it down works too, theres no rulebook for this shit so give it a go and see how she turns out!

Best of luck

Just scrape it flush with a blade. If there's a hole afterwards just pop a drop of ptex in and cut it flush after the ptex cools.

Add a little bit of heat with a heat gun or hair blower before hammering too
