How to export a project FROM Premiere TO Final Cut Pro X

I need some help with this, I'm trying to export the XML file from Premiere on my computer and open it up in FCP on my friend's computer but it's giving me a little bit of trouble.

Any suggestions/solutions would be much appreciated!

It sounds like a lost cause to me, I've never heard of cross-compatibility of projects within different editing programs. looks like you'll probably have to start again on FCPX, I don't think you'll e able to export the project from Premiere to X.

Well, it works well going the other way (from FCP to Premiere)

There does seem to be a function to go from Premiere to FCP, file>Export>FCP XML

Once I make the XML file, I can't open it up in FCP for whatever reason. There isn't even an option to open it up under FCP where it should be according to this video.

FCPX probably doesn't support it, its a shit program. Just download adobe on your friends computer.

Premiere is writing an FCP7 XML, which doesn't translate to FCPX. Par for the course.
