How to dye retro straps

I have brown retro and i think i might dye them orange. 1. Is that possible. 2. How do i do it. 3. what and were do i get the supplies.

Sorry if this is basically a repost, but don't crash my thread if it is!

1. probably wont work - to dark of a color, you can only dye something darker than the original color2. boil water, add dye to water, add item to dye into water, check often, remove when desired shade3. some grocery stores, most craft stores...it's called RIT Dye.

bleach it. dye wont work because the straps colour is too dark

and how well does that work i need to see some pics but i might just dye the text and riggers orange so would i use dye for that
