How to dress in montreal

its for if3 but im talking about night life because last year i had on jeans and a nice shirt and a button down and all that happened was people were coming up to me asking me to buy drugs and my friends weren't even allowed in a few of the bars because of dress codes.

Well, the drug shit is normal, happen to me all the time. For the dress code, it all depend which bar you're going. But generally a pair of dark/black jeans, some nice shoes, black vans can do the job, a shirt or a vneck. I live in Montreal, so if you have more question pm me, and let me know which bar you're heading to.
 
Can i be the first to say that i hate how in style v-necks are. Nothing makes me feel more metrosexual than wearing one because i cant pull it off at all, yet girls go crazy for some buff dude in a tight fitting v. Fuck v's

But really, the first night out last year i wore a tshirt and khakis and i was good to go. The next night was the rocker party so I'd hope you're not wearing your nice clothes to that. That being said, I was considering a small wardrobe upgrade for if3 this year.
 
idk where you live but dress to impress.....rock some khakis button down, whatever your feeling but gotta be looking good. In NYC half the hte places won't let you in if you look like crap. judging from what iv seen over the years about the way NS dress's wouldnt be surprised if your looking prety bad when you go out, considering your wearing jeans out at night.
 
Use common sense. If you look like a bum, you probably won't get into the bar. I really don't understand what is so hard about this. Don't show up to the bar wearing a backwards hat, shorts, and a tank top and expect to get let in unless it's a shitty bar.
