I am moving to Kansas (sigh) so CO will be my nearest (10 hours to Summit County) resort area. However, I will be quite poor when there. How do I stay there and ski there fore cheap? If you live in Summit CO or ski there regularly drop some ideas about deals and other helpful information. Thanks!

dont stay in the town where the resort is, stay in frisco or dillon it will be cheaper. Or sleep in your car

dont stay in town, get a bud who has a pass there (if you have one) then your lift tickets will be half off until you get a pass

Free lift tickets at Crested Butte until December 15th, and you can stay at the Hostel for like 20-30 bucks a night.

plus its pretty easy to hike keystone to their upper lifts and then just ski the park all day cause it has its own lift

Also, I should mention I am married. Sleeping in a car or bumming like I used to doesn't work so well with the wife, hence why I need to find cheap that is still decent. Thanks fellas.

i think its snows some in kansas no resorts though. but seriously kansas is probly in the bottom 10 states for skiing right there with gulf coast states and the other pankake flat brothrein

i stayed in frisco. it aws chaep. its like 70 a night. but its really nice for what you pay for. it was a best wesrtern

as long as you dont need slopeside accommodations, you can find relatively inexpensive hotels in silverthorne, frisco, fraser and even winter park.
