There are two screws to take the back off (on on either side of the ankle), once that's off you'll see all the screws to take the buckles and cables off. The only cable I couldn't get apart is the top cable, but that's attached to the backing. Other than that, there's a screw to take the power strap off which is on the back. You can pretty much fully disassemble the boot with nothing more than a phillips head screwdriver, pretty sweet, and it doesn't take very long to take apart and put back together (I've done both boots - fully apart and back together - in like 10 min).
