How to cut down poles

my poles are super long and I don't know how to cut them down. I'm sure its not complicated but i don't want to run them. they are line poles and the grip seems to be fastened on like it would be on a bike. it has a plastic fastener locked in with a screw.

Which Line poles are they? Do they have the mtn bike grip, tape grip, or the foam one?

This is seriously not hard.

step 1. loosen screws

step 2. pull off grip (you may need to stick them in hot water for a few minutes to make the plastic more pliable)

step 3. cut down poles using hacksaw or better yet, pipecutter

step 4. put grips back on

step 5. tighten screws

step 6. ??????????????????????????????

step 7. Profit.

Yea follow those steps

and use a pipecutter its so much easier. Perfect cut, grip will slide on perfectly.

Use one of these, but to get the grip off boil a big pot of water and stick the grips in for a bit, then they will slide off. then to get them back on take a mallet and mallet it in.

If you use a pipe cutter take it slow they can warp your pole if you tighten them too much.

this way seems easiest im probably gonna just do this cause it costs know money. if it becomes to short is there a way to stare at it to make them bigger
