How to completely take apart ski boots?

i really need help taking apart my ski boots because im gonna dye them.

i have 07/08 salomon spks

i tried taking them apart before but i cant get the black piece off.

also im wondering since i have the kreations. which are the light blue ones, if they will dye to a darker color like purple or green
 
Sorry I cant help with the spk's, but I love the dye idea. Might need to go pick up some black RIT and make my Krypton's all black. This type of plastic should take dye nicely.
 
to take off the upper cuff you would have to drill out the ankle rivets and then replace them with a screw rivet afterwards. It's very doable and if done right, will work fine, but i would not do that big of a mod on my boots just to dye them.
 
Yeah u gotta take the rivet out which is a pain i say dye it as one pecie but use a string so u can dye like part of it one color and a different part a diff color. also u can always dye plastic a darker color never lighter though
 
get some latex gloves, and soak a rag in the dye, and rub like a motha fucker on the area of boot you want to dye.
