How to Build a Backyard PVC Rail

My friends and I finally decided to build a backyard pvc rail. It was quite easy to build and only ended up costing around $50. This rail slides well and has been durable. If you are looking to upgrade your backyard park I recommend our design.

Materials

2 2x10 PVC Pipes

2 2x6x10

1 2x4x12

1 4x6x8

Screws

1. Cut your 4x6x8 into 17 inch pieces and cut your 2x4x12 into 3ft sections. The 17 inch pieces will be the supports or the part that gives the rail hieght.

2. Attach the 17 inch supports between the 2x10 pieces to form a ladder.

3. Add the PVC pipes to one side of the 2x10s.

4.Add the 3ft pieces onto the base of the rail.

*You can change the heights of the supports depending on how tall you want your rail to be

I did a very similar version to this rail for my own back yard park, and I would definitely recommend this design to anyone trying to up there game or practice without feeling embarrassed by people watching and seeing you fail at larger mountain. Go build one and build your confidence!, but always remember you'll learn faster if you fail than if you don't try anything new!

Yeah this rail feels very similar to a real rail and allows you to practice in your backyard! Lots of beginners are scared to try things at the mountain because they feel like they might get embarrassed, but with your own PVC rail you can learn with privacy.
