How to be more kinky?

I’m tryna build up confidence/learn kinked rails. I usually just slide the first part then pop off cuz idk what I’m doing. Anybody got advice on how to hit a kink? (mainly up kinks or left right kinks)

I’m good on flat downs and such but ups and turns make me feel like ima catch an edge

find a mellow kink rail and just slide it normal.

steeper kinks you have to use your knees to absorb but mellow ones you should be fine sliding right through, just keep your front foot in the front 2 pedal position to make sure it doesn't grab.

Look at end of rail. Weight on front foot to not get bucked back but ready to absorb impact with front foot. Look at end of rail. Also, weight over toe not heel. You want to be on the rail with ability to use your toes like you would in a normal athletic stance

* maybe weight on front foot isn’t right, that’s just what I always focused on to help myself

Most people fall off the side of the rail their tips point to. If you notice that pattern just lean the other way more. Keep the rail under the ball of your foot a lil more than just dead center.

Wide stance, light on the feet, really focus on your edges and make sure to apply your pressure to the inner edge of your front foot. Once you get em you got em tho
 
I got kinky with ‘er today on a right elbow. Shit was actually mad easy and I really had it built up on my head. Thank u all for good advice.

played with it a lil bit and hit slide->50 on it once

just keep your knees bent and have a little wider stance than normal.
