How to attach helicoils

My bindings on my walls have pulled out like 4 times. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a specific way to attach helicoils.

I heard u were supposed to use like elmer's wood glue to hold them in.

I might be wrong, but I dont think you use glue for the helicoil itself, just for the binding screw itself. if your existing hole isn't too fucked up you can use it for the helicoil, otherwise just drill a nice little pilot hole and thread it in good and solid. you might have to cut the helicoil down a little bit so it sits flush on the ski, but maybe someone else can give a better set of instructions.

Yes you are wrong. You do use glue on helicoils. Glue is always used on any open hole in a ski. Glue is to seal the hole water tight, not so much to hold the screw in.
