Yep. A lot of trannys who wanna fuck you, rob you or, preferably, do both... More so than the rest of Thailand. There's also an infestation of Russian mob/gang members who run drugs through there, and happily pull their guns out over nothing. It makes Bangkok look like a preschool. You can avoid the underworld/seedy shit, though.

To cut a long story short .... We got led to a place where you pay for children, of varying ages, for a few hours to fulfill whatever fucked up, twisted, perverted fantasy you have. Yes, child prostitution. We only stepped in the front door and got the fuck out when we realised what this place was, but we still got a glimpse of what was happening and it was fucking horrifying - white men, going into private rooms with young Thai children.
If a bunch of drunk tourists(That's my friends and I) were led there by some local, then it's more than likely this place was well known.
Most fucked up thing I've ever witnessed, and that is how Pattaya, Thailand is the most twisted place I've ever visited.
