How steep should a back yard jib be?

mine is 6 feet tall and goes out about 8 feet and i get enough speed

mines 8' high and 10' long drop ramp...works fine and its mad overkilll....you could prollly get away with 5' and 8'

I just built this yesterday and made different rungs for the ramp to sit on. I used three, but you can make as many as you want and it'll be as steep or shallow as you want

but its still pretty tall.

Mine is only 1 foot.

no my plat form is done its seven feet tall i just need to no how long and what angel the down part should be.

just play it by ear. Kinda just eye it out and see how much pitch you want on it, and make sure there is a smooth transition to the ground. Honestly, I wish my setup was smaller, and I wish i made a smooth flatter tranny, that was part of the down tranny and not on the ground leading to the rail rather than an up-ramp so that I could get more speed and not get kicked back onto the rail.

hey man i have two questions about your ramp. is the sloping ramp part 8 feet long? and is 6 feet high enough for 270s on pretty easy?
