From what I can see, the ARV96 and Chronics are going in different design directions from the ARV86. Both are wider, but the 96 has more tip / tail rocker and slightly longer sidecut radius to both the 86 / Chronics. The 96 is also stiffer than the 86, while the Chronics is softer. The ARV96 is about 30-40% stiffer than the Chronics, both in bending (flex) and torsion. The Chronics has a slightly lighter construction (we see that from the surface-to-weight ratio).
In this case, it is hard to say exactly how they compare just by their numbers, because one is stiffer with a more playful shape, while the other one is softer with a more traditional shape. For example, I would usually say that the heavier construction of the ARV96 should have more damping (because damping material are heavy), but in this case the raised tip/tail might flap around more than the Chronics when you are not in powder. Same for torsional stiffness and playfulness / edge grip.
