How precise really are the ski edge tools?

For the side edge tools (the L shape metal piece) I have seen edge tools from various brands in a big range of price difference. For some, there are even normal version and world cup version for the same bevel. Is there any difference in their precision level or durability that may effect it during a long term use?

For the base edge file guide, the adjustable ones come with not very good finish out of factory. They use a cheap plastic screw tip to tighten the file and 2 Plastic pieces standing on the p-tex to hold it. In comparison the non-adjustable one looks simple and seems 5-axis CNC cut from one block of metal. What could be the ± error of each?

I have googled but seems no one talks about it. Hopefully people here could share some views.

I have one - I wouldn’t use it for anything but just cleaning up rust or a quick refresh. In my opinion it’s like any tool probably pretty effective in the hands of the right craftsman but when it comes to ski tunes that ain’t me I can get a rental ski ripping again but don’t work on my own nice shit.
