.so my friends and i have all just gotten into twin tip skiing this year and we have progressed fastest i think anyone has every done. out super fast proggression is probably party due to the fact that we have all raced our whole lives and have just quite for newschool skiing. but its also cuz we have been doing alot of really dope stuff to get better when we aint doing trix on the slope. weve done stuff that you wouldn't think would get you better at skiing but it has worked for us.
for example we have been constantly walking around backwards looking crouching and looking over our shoulder with our ski goggles on being it gets us better at skiing facki. also ive been wearing my solomon foil boots to school lately and it really helps me get a feel for my boots when im skiing. also i heard that detuneing your edges is good for free skiing so i walked around my driveway clipped into my new AR6s to detune them. i tested them out last weekend and i was able to land a 360 so it must had worked. and lastly (maybe the most crazy) ive been going to sleep in my full ski gear (yes even the helmate and googles and boots) at night because i want to break all my new stuff in.
my friends and i have all been progressing really fast at free skiing (i started this year and i can almost get a 360 with a grab and i have already moved on from boxes to small rail) and im am almost positive it is because of all the stuff im doing. of course i have also bought all the new ski movies this year and most from last year and have watched all those but it still think the main reason my friends and me are getting so good so fast is because we have been doing this stuff. if you want to get better at skiing then i hightly recconment doing some of the things i said because it has deffinatly helped me.
oh yeah and ill get even better in the summer because my parents are letting me go to high north for not one but TW0 sessions at high north. (im so glad they support me and my free skiing)
