How much trouble can i get in

You are no where close to being above average or attractive, get off you're high horse. People are such dicks on NS.

damn. There's no argument here. She is definately attractive.

i think they just need a warrant to search your glove box...but yes keep it in a locked glove box and dont leave your registration in there just incase you do end up needing it

They don't need a warrant to search your car or your glove box unless it locks. I mean, technically they can't do it without probably cause, but in a real life situation? You gettin searched son, every time. "He seemed nervous when I question him like he was hiding something". BOOM, probable cause.
Hell I've had cops search my locked trunk as well, many times. Cops do what they fucking want there is absolutely no accountability.

if you were a stoner you would know these rules and I feel like everyone should learn this rule. cops do not have the right to search you without a warrant. you are allowed to deny a search and I dont see why they would have any reason that they would want to search you. If youre going to break one law (having an un-registered gun...) dont break any other laws (ie dont speed or smoke weed or do anything of the sort.) Only break one law at a time if you can.

Why do you need an unregistered gun sitting in your car? If you get in trouble you probably deserve it cause it sounds like you're looking for trouble.

Keep the gun at home.

People tell you you're above average? hahaha I'm not sure if thats good or bad..

Hey, you'll do.

Anyway, as for unregistered guns, that's a stupid idea. If it's THAT important that you need to use it to go and shoot small animals then get one of your parents to register it. Sounds kinda like you found it at your grandmas and now wanna go shoot it in the woods

I am actually shocked by the lack of basic research in this thread.

Possession of an unregistered firearm or possession of a handgun underage.

Jesus Christ in my state it can be 10 years....

Title 26, U.S.C., Sec. 5861(d), makes it a Federal crime or offense for

anyone to possess certain kinds of firearms which are not registered to

him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.

A person can be found guilty of that offense only if all of the

following facts are proved beyond a reasonable doubt:

First: That the person possessed a "firearm; and

Second: That the "firearm" was not then registered to the person in the

National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.

It is not necessary for the Government to prove that the person knew

that the item described in the indictment was a "firearm" which the law

requires to be registered. What must be proved beyond a reasonable

doubt is that the person knowingly possessed the item as charged, that

such item was a "firearm", and that it was not then registered to the

person in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.

was it...

oh yeah and "high horse" dude--I just checked the pix and I'm pretty sure beezy is pretty hot. That doesn't mean she can say whatever she wants...but you were wrong about the not attractive thing.

Also as an avid gun owner, I think its worth taking into consideration that if you are caught with a gun that in not registered to you will more than likely that you will lose your right to possess or transport a firearm.

So if your interested in guns you should respect the laws unconditionally because its priveledge that is very easy to lose.

You can get whatever you want to own in good states legally if you pay your dues and respect the red tape.

Pretty sure my 1911, my dad's .44magnum, and his .243 are the only guns out of the households 14 gun collection that are registered. And we use them all the time and the Sheriff we are friends with doesn't give a fuck.

I'm guessing aren't registered? Thats not bad then. If out of 14 guns you use they are the only ones that are, not so good.

I still don't understand why op is riding around with an unregistered gun in his car. Do you live in compton or something?

Driving around with an unregistered pistol is just... moronic.

We have 3 out of 14 registered. When my dad bought the other 11 over 30 years ago gun laws (the whole getting them registered thing) was not as big of a deal as it is now. He bought them and just never bothered to get them registered later. Most of them have killed in excess of 10 deer a piece and his three shotguns have performed the Holocaust on Quail and Duck.

Ah that makes sense. Op should just make an arsenal in his trunk. Keep a pistol under his seat and in the glove box. keep a some knife in the door, and a sawed off shotty at his feet.

no i dont live in compton i am gonna bring it up to my one of my grandmothers houses and she has a shooting range behind her house that my uncle built for me and my cousins

ive thought about that......but without the sawed off shotty at my feet cuz that would be obvious to cops...and ido plan on getting a veichal gun rack to put in my car/truck when i get one and keeping a 30-30 and a 12 guage on it
