How much time do you spend stuck before you give up

i just spend approximately 97 minutes on one homework problem for calc 3 and finally got it. am i the only one who doesnt give up right away?

i just decided when i was taking calc that no matter what i was going to be wrong so there was no point in worrying excessively about the homework.

i don't usually give up that fast on things that matter
when i comes to arguing i'm stubborn and persistent as fuck, not as much over the internet but definitely in person

haha i've never timed myself but i know what you mean! sometimes i find it helps to go on to another question then go back to the one you couldn't do and sometimes you can figure it out or see something you didn't realise before :P

After 5 minutes, I usually give up and look in the back of the book and bullshit my way through there. Having Stats with 60 kids rocks!

hahaha the scary thing is, im WORSE arguing in real life than on NSG. and you people have seen me on here

i looked at the syllabus. we have 3 odd problems the entire semester so the back of the book does not help. plus you gotta show your work

Ive probably spent over an hour on a problem I really felt I needed to understand. Problem is a pretty loose definition though, sometimes shit takes forever even if you do know all of the steps~
