Haha 10 for a gram is over priced i get a 1/4 of dank nug for 80

Time for a math lesson! $10 a gram, and 7 grams in a quarter. 10 x 7 = $70 for 7 grams. plus there are usually price breaks so itd be even cheaper.

its not really a matter of what price you can get an 8th for, it more about quality taht determines price. like right now ive got Cotton Candy and Skunk #1... both killer stains that go for 50/8th no problem. get some beaster for some 40/8th, some crap for 10/8th ahah

Just tell him some time you'll blaze him up! Unless he has like 70 and he's trying to make 80 for a 1/4 that he KNOWS and PLANS ON smoking with you extensively.

He can ask for money. Hell he can do anything. But money is NOT expected if it wasn't mentioned beforehand. So basically, in a 'legal' sense you don't have to pay him. But it's totally up to you whether you want or not.

Getting into shuts like this with your friends is really BAD NEWS though dude. Weed is chill, and what you're talking about here is definitely not chill.
