How much do people typically charge to film?

I’m trying to budget for our film, and I’m not sure how an average person charges for that filming….?

also how much do people normally charge to edit??

It can be a big range depending on the level you're looking for. Usually people have a "day rate" that they get hired for as a commercial videographer. The day rate can range from literally like $100 a day to $50k+ if you're the best in the business.

Editing is usually like $40-$50 an hour I think? Depends on where you live again and the level of professionalism as well.
