How much binding is too much binding?

I have the chance to snag some used STH 14 drivers for my new all mountain skis. The problem is that I only ride a 7 din most of the time. Looking to step it up this season, so I will probably be upping it eventually but... ya. Before you say "maybe, but I'd go with this" I could use the info on this binding specifically.

Thanks NS,

+ K for swift useful help.

I don't think having your din set too close to the minimum is too much of a problem. Din is Din no matter what.

Ok, thats great if so, it just seems as though shop guys and people on here seem to think it's an issue... anyone else?

The din will work just fine at the bottom and top of the range or the bindin. Could not have those settings. The sth 14 so long as it's the driver is a great binding. If you have a good deal on them and they are in good condition go for it.
