a few years ago I got a pair of the Black n Yellow DuB 6's, they where the best fitting boot for my long skinny foot! In IMO these boots are amazing, i like the way they feel, the way they Fit, EVERYTHING! It's just that my friends wear the Hotdoggers and SPK's and Once and a while i'll question why the higher end model boots are 200$ more the the others ?? Next year I was thinking about upgrading to the ace of spades. My question is are the ace of spades really that much better then my Dub 6's ????? If they are I would like to buy a pair next year, I'm Assuming there a Similar fit to the dub 6's ?? But at the same time I don't think there's anything that I wouldn't be able to do with the dub 6's. Thanks for any help!

If the dub 6 fits amazing, I wouldn't switch to another boot. Fit is the most important aspect of the boot, and then comes flex, weight, etc. You could try on some other boots (don't look only at Ace of Spades, go to a bootfitter with an open mind) to see if they fit just as well, but if the dub 6 is working for you than I wouldn't stray away from it.

Thank you sir n plus K for you my friend. I think so too. I did try on a more then a hand full of boots from a bootfitter, I was just thinking the ace of spades have the same fit. I'm 6ft at 150lbs tall n skinny, so the dub 6's are prob my best bet. But I would like to get a few more coments.

But is it worth the extra $500 when he knows the Dub 6's are going to work great for him? I think not.

I have 2012 26.5 Ace of Spades I would sell for about $250, theyve been skiied in about 13 times

True! I'm just wondering how much better? Unless I come into some Unexpected  money I'm sticking with the dub 6's. Thanks again guys, and I'm a 28.5

if you like them this much, stick with them until they die. then, when the liner or the soles wear out, contemplate buying new ones.

at that point, you are essentially paying 200 bucks extra for the ace of spades. all the AOS have that the Dub 6s don't is:

-rubber soles

-pants clip

-flex of "110-130" (versus the double 6's 90-110 flex rating)

I'm pretty sure those are the only differences. So if this is all worth 200 bucks for you, go for it! if not, stick with the double 6 and save a little $.

+K for you! I'm pretty sure those are the only differences, well that's what other reviews said. As far as the flex go's who knows I might like the softer ones, iv never compared one with more flex. My last pair of boots were salomon impact 8's, I'm not sure the flex on them. But again I got the impact 8's over the salomon impact 10's cuz I was told there good boots for a little less.

The only real reason to upgrade to the Ace of spades would be if you are maxing out the flex on the double six, and even that could be mostly solved by adding a booster strap. Unless you are out skiing the double six by a lot, then you are set.

That's why I could never understand those boots withOUT the strap, forgot witch ones they where. I think the ones T-Hall rocks, not sure tho. How can you wear boots without that strap??? When I wrench down on mine I could get another clip on the Buckle of the top and middle buckles.
