How many times can skis be drilled.

I just got some tele bindings mounted on my tm's and the guy not only forgot to center mount them, but set them way behind the standard mounting mark. I kind of want to get them remounted, but that will be the third time they have been drilled.. they started out with alpine bindings on them. Should I just leave it until i get new skis or try and get them redone?

should be ok, id recommend no more than 3 drillings

the general rule is that up to 3 is okay. However, there are always some factors that apply. For example, if you are a big guy and like to go big or do disasters a ski drilled three times with probably snap quite easily. On the other hand, if you are lightweight and use it moderately (like tele!) then they should be fine.

With shops always make sure you specify where you want them mounted. My shop is inept so I measured them once before myself and marked them and said "I want the center of the boot over this mark." Be specific if you can
