How many of you poor souls are landlocked and have never been in the ocean? Figured there must be some people on here considering the locations of lots of skiing.

everybody on here has a decent amount of money if they are able to ski/snowboard; therefore, they have most certainly been to the beach.

/thread

yeah man kindof an asshole dickfaced thread you have here. what do you expect to do? wait for the kids to say theyve never been to the beach then say 'i feel sorry for you'?seriously thats wack

Well judging most people live in co/ut or a good amount they havent. But I live right near chicago and lake michigan is a 10 minute bike ride for me

0/10there are poor skiers. Don't lump us in with the "daddy's-money"/suburbanite crowd.

We're rural and we're dirty.

The only time I've been to the beach, though, I cried. It was the most beautiful thing ever.

op means whos been to the ocean which makes sense cause if you live in the midwest theres a good chance youve never seen the ocean

Hahaha.

I'm in midcoast Maine, have view of the ocean from the top of my local hill. Pretty cool. I also lived in Santa Barbara for a while so I've lived on both coasts :D /endclaim

oh fuck yea! we just moved here for the summer. haven't spent any time in north county yet, il check out niko's for sure. you ever been to hodads in OB?

My sister's boyfriend came with us to the ocean last year, his first time ever going. It was like watching a little kid at Christmas, so much fun.

hodads is the shit. as well as ob noodle house..their irish piss beer or something like that is delicious. oh and taco tuesday at south beach. legit fish tacos.

i was just down there saturday night.

Lol it's a quick ten second walk from my porch to swim. Another 5 to get to a legit beach that I can see from my room.

I live on a beach in beautiful North Chatham, MA, all summer long.

when i retire i'm going to live on a beach, there's nothing better.

best beaches are the rocky coastlined, pine treed, rugged beautiful ones.(Maine, North shore of MN, some of Alaska, Washington, and BC)

love just hiking and exploring those kind of coastlines. Anyone been to Lutsen, MN? bau5 view

shit son, you gonna get eaten by them shaaahks this summer! But yeah, the beach is the shit, I would love to take everyone in the world that hasn't gone it if I could.

I never said daddy's money or rich, i meant not dirt poor. Also considering you live on the east coast (if your username is logical), it should not be that hard to get to a beach. I live near boston and a nice beach is only a 45 minute drive. It really shouldn't be that big a deal for you.

yeah i did mean ocean. I was surfing today. When i say beach i assume everyone knows i mean ocean. but i suppose those of you without might think lake or other body of water.

Same could get to Lake Michigan in like 20 mins by train. But I have also been to both coasts, as well as Hawaii and Ireland. I would be surprised if anyone on a skiing website had not been to an ocean considering how most skiers live in the east and west portions of the country, in addition to the fact that most skiers have a decent amount of money.

haha no shit dude!

fishing for striper last summer we saw multiple great whites just chilling 10-50 yards from our boat. i swear you don't know the definition of the word "ominous" until you see one of those fins just gliding through the water.

O think eastham bro! Sometimes my family goes to Marconi beach, ever heard if thT one? Mabye herd of the restaurant the land ho!? Maad good burgers

never been to land ho, but i've been to marconi various times!

i'm in north chatham so it's a bit of a drive to eastham though. i live right by ryders cove, it's by the restaurant The Lazy Lobster, and about a 5 minute drive from the town of chatham.

Every summer I spend 3-4 weeks on nantucket, my grandfathers house is a 3 minute walk to the beach and you can hear the surf as you fall asleep, I love it there

Poorly titled thread. There are beaches all over the place. If there is a lake, with sand, there is a beach.

There is a beach in Luzern, switzerland down the street from me. People refer to it as the beach.

Should have said the ocean.

my families house on Nantucket is ON the beach on surfside. And I go to the Vinyard for a while too with my stepdads side of the family. But right now I am on vacation in Cali (live in VT). Taking a surfing lesson tomorrow. So stoked! so yes I have been to the beach

last family trip, i took a bottle of water from the atlantic (i went to school in halifax) and dumped it into the pacific (at the end of a cross country drive to vancouver).

just to fuck up the natural flow of things
