How long should I cut my poles?

I got some poles and they are a bit long, i think i should cut them but i really have no idea how long they should be...any suggestions? I ski park and am starting some urban
 
Comfort level. Whatever you feel works for you. I use 125cm for all mountain and like 110-115ish for park. I'm 6'4.
 
take small amounts off.. its real easy to over do it and end up with shorter poles than you wanted.

I suggest keeping ~2 inches more than what you think looks about good. because remember, from your basket down will be under snow.
 
just keep the handles and baskets...ultimate steeze, I would recommend around your waist length though...
 
average park pole height is when you put your arms straight at your sides palms flat, they just reach the top of your poles. keep in mind that this is with the basket stuck in snow, so add about 4". and its better to cut them too long the first time, rather than too short.
 
I keep mine a bit above my waist. They're a tad longer than most people's park poles, but I like it that way because I can actually plant with them.
