How long did it take you to grow your hair out?

I've had relatively short hair all of my life but I think it's time to let my mane rage. Looking to get it shoulder length at least. Just wondering how long it took you to grow your hair out
 
you should get hair extensions to try out the style before you invest several years into looking like a dirty wook.
 
Takes about 7-8 months to go from an inch or so to about 5-6 inches. My hair grows fasst and I always make it perfectly timed for ski season.

Took me a good year and a few months to really be able to tie it up well, i got to shoulder length after probably 2 ish years, i was at nipple length after 3 then i cut it ha

In highschool there was a kid a few grades below me who had a rat tail that he had never cut since birth. The end of it was blonde (he had brown hair) and it was the hair he had when he was in the womb.

Needless to say, he was dubbed womb hair kid and probably is still having a hard time making friends 7 or so years later..

Mines shoulder length, it's been about a year now since I started growing out. The annoying stage is when it starts getting in your eyes but you can't tie it back, and that lasts like 6 months. Just wear lots of hats then.

I've always noticed how easy it would be for people to be a dick, by just walking up behind someone with a rattail and cutting it off in one clean cut with a pair of scissors
 
Took me 14 months to get to shoulder length then i cut it. Havent cut my hair since february and its a little past my eyes and just now covering the tips of my ears, gonna wait till its decently long then cut it so its all around the same length and grow it out till its a little past shoulder length.

Should be perfect for ski season this year

skin me right now, i can get most of it back in a knot but when its down its always in my eyes
 
I cut my hair shortish in october....then by spring break it was pretty damn long. I have pretty fast growing hair though.

Its been like 17 months since my last hair cut (used to like pretty short hair) meow my hair is below the lowest part of my collar bone. Ladies love it but the heat is relentless. Also some mornings when im eating my oatmeal my hair will take a dip

13 or 14 for me and I'm back to my waist now. Longest was close to my knees. It's nice to be able to tie it up.

I'm a short-haired bitch. My hair is super thick and it looks like shit after it reaches two inches or so. No way I'm going to make it through the awkward stages.

Only 18 years old but I can already tell that I have good facial hair genetics... so that's a positive for the future.
 
it took my three months from a standard kind of trim, to below my nose, then i got it cut because of a few meetings, but im gonna grow it out again and see what happens after a year.

Ive been growing mine out for about 4 years, in which I've probably cut 6 inches off, and it's about to the bottom of my ribs
 
Never grew it out enough to reach my shoulder. Last winter I grew it out decently long, but I cut it at the end of the winter. :-(

been growing my hair out from a really short buzz cut for about 2.5 years, and its about halfway between my shoulders and my nipples. Im gonna cut it before school starts this august, gotta wait for a homie to get back from his mission first tho but I'm so attached to it i guarantee ill puss out
