How long before this is a normal thing to own for skiers and snowboarders?

Pretty sure this is somewhat revolutionary.

Who needs to hike anymore when you can use a drone to tow you. I mean if you can afford it that is, and know how to build one(right now at least).

I wouldn't mind having a drone that can lift a human being.
 
Battery life and flight time are probably less than 30min... have fun packing your drone out on your back.

I would wager the you could buy a sled for the same price as that drone.

Besides, analog is so in for 2017. Traction kites are the new new drones.
 
Looks sweet especially for urban but honestly it would be a nightmare if people used those at resorts. It would just be a mess and it would be loud and it would give gapers more power to do stupid stuff
