How is the WV open?

I moved to NC this summer and am trying to figure out where to ski and some good comps to do. How is the WV open? Also any suggestions for other comps around the area?
 
appalachian ski mountain has several competitions each year.The wv open is like a rail jam, but a lot of skiers from all over the mid atlantic come to it because of the cash purse.
 
corey lilly won last year, i places second for skiers. its pretty good, had to learn some new tricks to compeate with corey, dude can shread!
