How is Mammoth looking right now

Getting pretty thin from photos I've seen on insta. But skiing is skiing so it's always a good time.

"Broadway (1), Stump Alley (2), Face Lift (3), Unbound (6), 23 and the Gondi to the top are spinning from 7:30AM-2PM with access to 25 trails. Forest Trail is open to the public with a handful of jibs"

Until 2pm what's the point of that the afternoon is the best time to ski. Spin lifts to 5 I say.

Squaw also closed early the last few weeks. It gets pretty soupy in the afternoons. Maybe they're closing early to preserve the conditions? Idk I've never worked resort ops before

Me either that would add up however I really don't know either however even if th spun from like 4-sunset when its cooler I just love afternoon evening skiing.
 
Can anyone confirm if the park is still open? On a previous thread it was mentioned that it was pros only.
 
Was there a couple weeks ago, got pretty soupy by 2. They plowed most of the jumps while I was there. Overall thr snow was holding up decently, and everything was going off by 9am. Recommend using a quick rub wax to apply daily.
 
Went last weekend, it was super fun, but 65 and straight sun all day was absolutely cooking the place. Per their instagram today they shut down main park so only Forrest is open, and they said only 5 features are in Forrest. Late season is fun no matter what tho, found some fun natural jibs in the slush on other runs

The best time to ski is when the snow is super fucking sticky? I think everyone would disagree with you
 
If you're coming to ski park, most of it is gone right now. They took out all of main park. left a few tubes down forest trail, and have one 60ft jump but only opens at 11:30
