hey idaho folk. i was wondering what the status of idaho ski resorts is right now, 11/11/04. my parents moved to iowa, so i don't get to go home to idaho anymore. i've been skiing chest deep for the past 2 1/2 weeks in UT though, are the conditions similar at Bogus?

Not to disapoint you man it looked good about 2 weeks ago now we have no snow and its not looking good for thanksgiving... your best bet for deeper snow is late Decmeber at Brundage which is in Mccall about 2hr drive... now Bogus does not have that great of a snow during the season last year was not bad there was some weekends where we had knee deep snow but never chest deep at Bogus that was like 10yrs ago...

yea idaho wouldnt be my first choice for a ski trip. last year it snowed around christmas a lot then it pretty much stopped fer the rest of the year so all the powder got all tracked up and hard. but i guess it could be worse

 
yeah, i used to live in boise until 2 years ago, and i'm just savoring the fact that i am in utah right now. i am returning for some backcountry near mccall this winter though, hopefully there is an abnormally large amount of snow for that.
