How hard do you POP

So NS, how hard do you pop off jumps. Does it really depend on the trick or jump? Like if it was a really steep lip, would u pop harder?

Or do you pop the same way no matter what?

I feel like everyone naturally adjusts their pop without knowing it, depending on the feature, pop is one of the most important parts of any trick it sets the trick

Usually carve off and just let the jump send me, but on rodeos I giver a nice fat pop

Depends on speed and the jump that day. One day i had to pop hard to even clear the knuckle then the next day i hit the same jump first run with no pop and almost went to flat.

depends on jump, speed and trick

Slow day: pop hard all tricks, avoid big carve tricks like cork 3 and 5

Poppy ass jumps: less pop, more about leaning forwards. still have to pop a bit though to maintain control so the jump doesn't awkwardly send you back.

Flat/rodeo/misty/front: hard pop. very important step in initiating the rotation.

Cork 3/5: almost no pop, if you do it will fuck up the rotation and make it Lincoln or underflip.

Cork 7/switch rodeo/switch cork: medium pop, depends on speed and lip of jump.

Hope dis helps, its what I do.
