How good should you be to go to snowflex camp?

Just gotta be able to Frenchfry and turn. These summer camps are all about progression and having fun, no matter your park skills you will learn new tricks and be encouraged and have a good time

The whole point of these camps is to get better at skiing, so it'll help you no matter what level you're at. In fact, it might even make more of an impact if you're at a lower level than it would if you were a more advanced skier.

How good do you have to be to come to our camp? Answer: It doesn't really come down to skill, per se, but comes down to self confidence. If you're able to ski somewhat decent, you will inevitably get better even if you're not that great at freestyle. However, my qualm with this, is that if you're going to be discouraged due to some of the riders being better than you, then you're going to be less likely to have a great time. I've seen this happen to a few skiers who were "racers" and wanted to learn freestyle, they were so overwhelmed by some of the other skiers that they left early even though they were decent skiers. So if you want to come and learn a whole lot just have a good attitude, simple as that.

Hope that helps,

what is it like falling on the snowflex? like if you knuckled a jump, or caught your tips on a backflip?

Falling on Snowflex hurt a whole lot less than the hype would imply. Like snow, you will get a scraped up if you slide bare skin across it. This is solved through covering knees and elbows. However, I find it more forgiving than snow in many cases as there is 2.5in of foam beneath the snowflex itself. Once riders become comfortable on it, they tend to attempt tricks that they wouldn't on snow because it is so forgiving, especially on jumps. We also have an airbag to assist with low consequence learning.

alright cool, and how do you slide on it? wax? water?

We have a misting system that keeps the bristles wet, we also recommend waxing to maintain low friction on your base. It also helps rails and boxes slide easier.
