How easy is it to tape seams?

So recently i bought skinny snow pants online, only to find out that theyre not as skinny as I wanted. So i thought that i should skinny them but i still want them to be waterproof, so how easy would it be to skinny them and tape the seams? I've skinnied snow pants before but never done this.

Look around for a fabric shop that deals with a lot of synthetic stuff. They should have some iron on tape. It is easy to do. You just iron it on and fuse it to the material.
