How does a Canon HV-30...???

so i'm about 5 days away from purchasing a Canon HV-30 but i'm having some last thoughts and worries...

First off. How well does it transfer files from the camera to the computer (Windows XP with Sony Vegas Plat. 9.0)?

and

if you have this camera... well... how is it?

i use fce with my hv30 but i can tell you it is an awesome camera. Quality is very good, heres my initial test footy shots with it

no i use a dv to firewire cable and everything is fine
