How do you wipe?

I honestly thought everybody stood.

but yeah. standing, bottom to top. repeat as necessary.
 
I don't understand why anyone who stand and wipe. In the process of getting up, doesn't shit get on your ass and somewhat spread creating more of a mess to clean up?
 
sitting from balls to back with 4 squares of 2 ply folded twice in half thus making it 1 square of 8 ply. one wipe, then fold that in half to make a rectangle of 16 ply and one more wipe. repeat one more time. but sometimes, cheap mofos amd restaurants half only ply but i dont realize and it throws me off. i get frustrated!
 
Put one cheek on one side of the toilet seat and then stretch the other cheek onto the opposite side so you feel a pull. Shit falls right out. No need for toilet paper.
 
Standing, though somewhat hybridized now. Never knew people wiped sitting until a few years ago. Total shock.
There was a thread on TGR about it with a poll and if I recall correctly, it was about 35-40% standing, 60-65% sitting, with both sides in utter shock over the other method.
 
well ive come up with a possible theory. i think that because no one ever talks about wiping their ass with other people, they can just assume that the way they do it is the way that the whole world does it.
 
im in the shanghai holiday inn right now getting free wifi and i just farted on the couch with people i dont know all around me. no one cared. My Life Is Asian
 
i never knew people sit down to wipe until a few years ago. i guess i wipe standing up because thats how you're positioned when your mom does it through the early years.

so standing, with right hand, wipe bottom to top.
