lift up your tongue

go down where it connects to the actual boot

find the metal piece

grab and pull out the two metal prongs out of two little holes in the boot, which will release the tongue

then just pull apart and put the prongs in the two little holes in the boot to attach a tongue

 
^pritty much what he said! there is a little metal square thing if you put a flat head skrew drive sideways on the one side of the metal square and push a little it will come out of a little hole conected on the boot. Then just do it on the other side and your done!
