im prety sure the only way to add funds directly to your paypal account is if you do a wire transfer from your bank account. if you want to use your credit card/debit card to buy something with paypal, go to add a card, and add your credit card to your account, then when you want to send money to someone, it will ask you if you want to send money thats in your paypal account or send money via your credit card. does that help at all?
