Whats your job essentially? How do you get the money for that new pair of skis and next seasons pass? Also what do you plan on spending the money on?(doesnt have to be ski related)

Personally I work in a neighborhood restaurant and around my neighborhood helping people with their yards, lawns, and computers. I make pretty good cash from electronic help. I plan on getting next seasons Scott Jib skis and also a new saga suit. I already spent some of my recently earned cash on NS swag. If i make enough money i think i might get a new longboard. I dont have to worry about paying for my own season pass yet.

smaller stuff is from shit i sell on ebay. But I have a paid internship this summer so it will probably come from that.

I work at a family business and plan on buying an XXL Ignant vest with built in fleshbongvapelight dildo, Glock, and Alchohol, but I'm not sure how to order it to my house without my parents knowing....

Just started working at Mountain Equipment Coop today.... That will pay for my ski gear, and I'm going to buy it all on pro deal through MEC. New skis and touring bindings, and a completely new suit (and maayyyybe new boots) are in order.

Ironically the last time I bought new or full price ski gear was about 4 years ago on pro deal through a ski team I worked for.

I dishwash at a family owned Italian restaurant in the middle of a valley. Food is amazing. Minimum wage but i get a lot of tipsProbably going to buy a new dslr, not sure which one, and save some money for hoodies next fall.

Oh yeah and i was thinking of buying this crazy space suit from the NASA store to ski in.

Got a job bussing tables and washing dishes at a small restaurant only like 3 bucks an hour + tips But also got a job working in a fabrication shop doing a bunch of shit making 16 dollars an hour + union benefits full time! Gonna stack the chedda' for hood all next summer and moving to Utah following year. And maybe a camera along the way.

got hired in a shop being a welder and doing odd jobs. i already got all the things i need for next season. but right now i'm hoping on buying a new vehicle half way through summer.

i also have all my shit for next year. im not gonna spend any more money on ski related stuff.

I wax skis. I am buying an ice axe, crampons, ski crampons, and a new ski pack. Shop discounts usually aren't as great as you think they are, but occasionally we get free socks.

film and edit, probably get a pair or two of this years surface's

Double Times (yellow):

Or maybe a pair of ON3P Jmo's if I can get a deal (also yellow):

Mount em up with some pivots that I'll find on TGR or NS, and they'll be good to go!

Landscaping for this guy that has his own little business right down the road from me. From the money durring the summer, I can usually buy both my season passes with enough left over for a new pair of skis

Also my dad is a patroller at liberty so eventhough i live in dc i was at liberty almost every weekend, and at whitetail or roundtop the others

In the summer, I'm an engineering intern for the city. I mainly do surveying. Pretty easy job, pays great.

Year round, I work at McDonalds. Don't even get me started on that shithole.

well before I had a really shitty job at KFC, but I quit because I absolutely hated it. I'm not gonna lie, my parents give me a ton of money and buy me a ton of stuff, which I am very grateful for. I also have a trust fund with about $10,000 in it because we got in a pretty bad car accident and sued the guy for $200,00. But I have to save around $6-7000 for college and a vePossibhicle. I'm hopefully getting a job soon and making as much money as I can, and here is what I plan on buying. But I guarantee I will not get anywhere close to all of this, unless I work my ass off.

-Canon T2i

-Camera accessories

- Lots of Jiberish, Supreme, Diamond, Huf, etc. clothing cause I really need new clothes

-New Saga jacket because mine is too small and super dirty, and the waterproofing is gone

-Baggy black ski pants

- I would love new skis and boots, but I don't need them (I might need new skis, but idk yet) and my boots are fine unless my feet suddenly grow.

- A car once I turn 16

-New Oakley goggles and a POC helmet next season, cause I ate shit super hard today and broke my Crowbars

-A longboard or a skateboard, but I'm leaning towards a longboard cause I can't skate to save my life

-New inline skates cause mine are shit

-New winter gloves and maybe pipe gloves

-Possibly a new snowboard, boots, and bindings cause snowboarding was fun

-Baller donator status

Got a labour job for a Construction company lined up for the next 5 months or so. Living with the rents so going to bank a lot of dough. Using my savings to get a van and a sled then collecting unemployment for the winter and skiing everyday. Just like this winter WOOO ski bum fa life

i do work for my neighbor, save the money my parents give me for food and shit, and sell stuff to freinds and on ebay. just save it all up. i aready have enough for some new skis if i needed it

Have had a plethora of jobs so far in my life.

13 - 15: Worked at a golf course as a cart jockey

15 - 16: Worked at a greenhouse doing shit

16 - 17: Worked for Frito Lay delivering chips and shit

16 - present: Worked in a chill ass ski shop during the winter doing chill ass things

17 - 18: Worked at a resort rolling people down the hill in OGO or ZORB balls

19 - Present: Flying in 9 hours to Northern Ontario to go tree planting for the first time in my life and then returning in July to work for my friend with his garbage collection business.

University is where my money goes.

Dish bitch but hopefully get promoted to cook. I need new boots and a new helmet. Hoping to pick up done ON3P pow sticks. Planning on hopefully being a liftie next winter. Got friends in high places.

This will be my 4th summer working as a bag boy at a country club and I honestly have no idea what I'll spend my money on other than saving the majority of it for college costs. I just bought a car earlier this spring so I'm planning on being thrifty this summer since I have considerably less money.

Yardwork and landscaping. Pays alright considering I'm 15. Only gear I'm getting is a pair of this year's Jeronimo's and a 5xl peach nerd. Outside of that I might get a cheap computer.

i do taxes and manage people's money and stuff. i also do search/rescue and recovery scuba diving. car goes in to the river and need to get it out? i'm your guy. sink your boat? I'll bring it to the surface. want to jump off of a bridge and kill yourself? i'll see to it that your family has a body to bury.

work as many hours as i possibly can in the summer (80 hours a week last summer doing construction) and I'm a ski instructor in the winter. Not buying one thing this year, last year i bought park and pow setups, boots, 3 suits, 2 pairs of goggles, poles, helmet, and lots of other stuff. As long as my park skis hold up I'm golden

dont get afterbangs, worst decision you'll ever make. I bought a pair last summer and sure they're fun at first but then once you really start using them they chip super easily and will probably double in weight because they get waterlogged after like 1-2 seasons.

why do people buy multiple suits and goggles?

please answer me that.

why not just add a new pair of pants or new jacket every other year?

im a lifeguard and swim coach, also my dad is paying me to do manual labor so i can make extra money. i have to save it all for next year at school because this past year i burned through close to 2000 dollars on useless shit

i have sunny day and cloudy day/night goggles. Suit for my job, suit for really cold and pow, and then normal park suit, i just like to switch it up
