I want to make a rainbow rail and a dragon rail out of pvc pipes but I have no idea how to get the shape without damaging the pvc pipes at all.

what he said^ but also if u screw the pvc's to the rainbow rail it also works but the rail has to be more slanted.

You can get a tool electricians use to heat pic and bend it. It's called a greenlee hotbox

This can also be done with a heatgun. Filling the pipe with sand or sealing up the ends to trap air will help to avoid kinking it. Slowly & evenly heat the pipe & bend it with leather gloves on. You need to bend a little bit beyond the final angle you want as it will spring back a bit.

What diameter of pipe are you going to use?

Pretty easy with smaller stuff or heat it up.

You really don't want it too steep so it shouldn't be too bad. Mellow is good IMO. Super steep won't flow that well. Also a lot of backyard rails are smaller.

IMO rails seem more steep when you're approaching them then when you're building them.

Don't listen to anyone that's saying anything about heating or molding. Guys, it's PVC, it's

Meant to have a decent amount of flex. Just get some burly screws and screw the pipe in according to what angle you want it at.
