How do you like your steak cooked?

Mmmmmm that looks sooooooo good.

I'll never understand why people bother eating steak if they're going to cook it through. You're totally ruining a perfectly good steak. When I worked in a restaurant, I wanted to smack people in the forehead who ordered a steak well done. What a waste of money! Order meat that's supposed to be cooked through, like chicken.
 
Rare-raw, but cooked extremely slowly, so it's warm all the way through. And bearnaise, on the side. Amazing .
 
I don't understand how cooking anything over medium takes away the flavor. I have had medium rare and medium well and they both have flavor, I just prefer shoe leather. I only like medium rare if it is sliced super thin.
 
I do love steak BUT i had myself a fine cut of buffalo the other day and let me tell you it was mighty delicious. Similar to steak consistency wise but has a slightly different taste to it. Would buy again.
 
I dunno, I guess it just doesn't make sense to me why you would rather chew on a piece of cardboard than a juicy red piece of meat. Like, if you ever ordered a filet well done, the cow died for no reason.
