how do you like to ride your edges?

dulled, sharp, or completely filed away or anything in between.

i personally have my edges under foot filed down to nearly a 45 degree angle so i basicly have no edge left. and dulled on the tips and tails. this is on my invaders

under food dont dull it down but dont sharpen it that much but every where else i sharpen my skis pretty sharp i find it doesnt hang up on the rails very often and u can still hit them fine

all the people i ski with except for 1 boarder friend have edges that could cut diamond, so they follow where their edges lead them, so its hard to keep up with them on fully dulled skis. other wise, i would do the same as you.

Depends on the ski, but I like mine to be relatively sharp on all sides. Nothing crazy, but I want to have some grip and finesse.

Wow, this is weird as fuck. You'd really sacrifice edges to do rails?

I guess it is NS though haha

I like mine sharp at all times. Even on my park skis.

My park skis are really dull under foot and just average the rest of the length. I would sharpen the tips and tails but I don't like catching edge on jumps.

Powder skis are razor blades.

not meaning to start shit or anything but isn't that completely pointless to have? my powder skis are super dull all the way around and glides way smooth. I guess it could depend on the type of snow you got on your mountain though. i just never heard of anyone having sharp edged powder skis.

In deep pow you are correct, sharp edges are not as important as when skiing hardpack or ice, but even on pow days, sometimes you will have to ski some groomers to the base to eat, shit, ect. The way I see it is that a sharp edge doesnt hurt you cause your not gonna hit rails with them, at least I wouldnt, so they might as well be sharp for when you are charging some bigger lines.

i do a 2 to 3 degree bevel and gummy it underfoot real nice so it doesnt catch. u gotta have some edge though, slipping around when ur tryin to rip it down a trail is not fun at all

I never dull my edges, but i don't really sharpen them either. Wear and tear all the way.
