How do u make camcorder handles

find a good piece of metal to go from under the camera and the onto the top. attach any kind of handle you want. then either tap and die the handle to put a dowel in or just drill it and put a tripod screw to hold the camera. you can also get fancy and put guards on the sides or supports to hold it on.
 
A fairly basic one which can be put together using items which are easily found around a household

Don't worry about the accessory shoe at the top or the black thing at the bottom. You get the idea.
